All of this is possible with:
During my 9 years practicing law, I’ve represented many fathers in family law matters and I recognized early on, you face a unique challenge representing yourself. Whether intentionally (hopefully not) or unintentionally, many Courts treat you unfairly when it comes to visitation (now referred to as “parenting time”).
I’ve had many fathers hire me after a judge told them “you’re lucky I’m giving you any time” or “if it were up to me, you would only have one day a week so stop complaining”. <– true stories (I can’t believe it either!)
In Guarded, you’ll gain the knowledge so that you can confidently represent yourself at Court and make proper legal arguments that cannot be ignored.

You'll be learning all of this valuable information from me:
I’m Kelly McGriff, a New Jersey attorney who focuses on representing fathers in Family Court. I’ve been practicing law for 9 years and during that time, I have worked with many fathers. Sadly, many of them have told me that they felt attending court was pointless because the judge granted whatever she asked for, or they didn’t feel they were heard at Court when they spoke, that’s if the Judge even spoke to them. I’ve dedicated my practice to helping you dads feel heard and respected at Court by educating you on the law and creating programs specifically designed to meet your needs.
Hiring an attorney to file a parenting time and child support motion and appear at Court would cost at least $1,500.00!
Most people return to Court to change parenting time or recalculate child support at least three times, that would run you another $4,500!
You could pay $6,000.00 and still have to return to Court again!
Not everyone can afford $1,500 for an attorney to appear at Court one time or thousands for an attorney to represent them every time they have to return to Court so Guarded presents a perfect middle ground:
you'll learn all of the information you need to represent yourself at Court from a licensed, knowledgeable attorney at a more affordable price than hiring an attorney to appear and make the arguments for you.
With Guarded, you get:
-
3 live hours of explanation of NJ laws regarding custody, parenting time, child support, emancipation & college contribution;
-
Weekly worksheets to complete so that you can quickly refer to them at Court;
-
A live 1 hour Q&A call so that you can get answers to any lingering legal questions;
-
3 pre-recorded videos walking you through how to complete your motion and giving you tips on how to organize and complete your motion;
-
Specific legal strategies to use at Court;
-
Checklists to print out and use at Court to keep you on track;
-
1 page reference guides with all the legal factors you need to know; and
-
An easy to understand guide explaining (in plain english) all those confusing legal terms.
Total Investment: $999!
Pay in full or split your payments in half!
This is more than just a package of legal information, this is an investment in yourself! After completing this program, you will be ready to face your day in court with:
CONFIDENCE
Say goodbye to those days of appearing at Court nervous and confused. And no more guessing and hoping that you made the right arguments or stressing over what you could have done differently. Guarded gives you the confidence knowing that you made the right legal arguments.
KNOWLEDGE
This is how Guarded really saves you money! If you choose to represent yourself in the future (and let’s face it, you will probably find yourself in court several times to modify child support!), you will feel confident and comfortable doing so because you will know exactly what legal arguments to make and how to respond and defend yourself against any arguments she may make.
When you hire an attorney, they make the legal arguments for you and you usually don’t learn too much except how fast money can be spent. Why not invest in yourself once so that you can learn the law regarding child support and then you can represent yourself over and over again and save that money?
Need more help? I can do that!
You may realize that you need a little (or lot) more help than Guarded offers. If that’s the case, one of the upgrades below may be just what you need!
If I had to guess some of your questions or objections, I’d say:
-
Are the sessions live or pre-recorded?
All the sessions are live. But they will also be recorded and uploaded to the membership site just in case you can't make the live class.
-
What is the schedule of the program?
Guarded is available January 2018! It begins Thursday, March 1, 2018. On that day at 6pm, as well as Thursday, March 8, 2018 and Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 6pm, you will receive an email with your link to the live webinar. The final class (i.e. the Live Q&A call) will be on Thursday March 22, 2018 at 6pm.
-
I really don’t need this Program or an attorney. I’ll just go into Court and make my argument. I got this.
While I’m happy to see you already have some confidence, if you represent yourself, you are expected to know the law. As you may have seen, or heard, simply making an argument for what is fair will not always get you the result you need or want because the law unfortunately does not always do what is fair. Maybe this program isn’t what you need but you should consider at least consulting with an attorney before Court. Give me a call or shoot me an email and schedule your consultation.
-
Does buying this Program mean that you are my lawyer?
No it does not. It means I am the attorney that you consulted with regarding this matter. However, this program does not allow us to have a more in depth consultation and as such, I cannot guarantee this program will provide the answer to all of your case specific questions. You are encouraged to attend the live FAQ session (class 4) so that you can receive answers to your case specific questions. Also note that I will not be responding to any Opposition filed, Court notices, inquiries from the other party or appearing at Court with you.
-
Will this Program cost me more than $899?
No, this program will not cost you more than $899 unless you purchase one of the Guarded upgrades. No hidden costs, you know up front what you will pay me.
-
Does the law presented in this Program apply in states other than New Jersey?
No, these laws are specific to New Jersey. I do not recommend this Program if your case will be heard in a Court in a different State.
-
I am scheduled for Court in less than one month. Will this Program work for me?
On that tight deadline, this is not best for you. There is a lot of information and for that reason, it is designed to be presented over the course of four (4) weeks. However, if you need legal advice before your Court hearing, give me a call or shoot me an email and schedule a consultation.
-
What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay using a debit or major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
-
Is there a money back guarantee if I realize this Program is not right for me?
No there is no money back guarantee. If after reading through these FAQ’s and the program description you still aren’t sure if this is right for you, please email me so that we can schedule a few (i.e. 10-15) minutes to speak so I can tell you if this program will deliver what you need. Once the recording of the first class is delivered, no refunds will be offered.
Okay, I think this program is perfect for me. What do I do next?
Once your purchase is confirmed, you will receive a welcome email with all the details about your next steps!
Don’t delay!
If you are paying child support, what you don’t know can cost you.
Do you still have a question about this Program and whether it is right for you? I have answers! Email me at kelly@kellymcgrifflaw.com and I’ll respond with answers to your questions within twenty-four (24) hours.
