As someone who no longer has her father in her life (he gained his angel wings much sooner than I was ready for), I could not imagine growing out up without him.  Although my parents divorced when I was young, my dad was always there for me encouraging me, pushing me to be and do better and protecting me.  That’s what children are missing when they have a father who wants, but is not allowed, to be in their lives!

I’m Kelly McGriff, a NJ fathers’ rights attorney.  As someone who absolutely adores her father and brother, and all the other fathers in my life, it is my passion to help fathers enforce their rights to ensure they can be as involved in their children’s lives as possible.

The truth of the matter is that fathers are fighting an uphill battle in family court.  Fathers need an attorney who focuses on their unique needs and challenges and more importantly, is passionate about making sure they can be involved in the lives of their children.

That’s where I come in!  I’ve been practicing law since 2008 but I’ve been specifically focusing on fathers’ rights for the last 2 years and during that time, I’ve been able to get many clients favorable outcomes in their custody, child support, parenting time or divorce case.

When I’m not representing fathers, I can be found spending time with my baby boy, hanging out with my girlfriends, baking cakes or enjoying a glass of wine (or two).

Now for the formal bio:  I attended the Egg Harbor Township school district and graduated from there in 2001.  I graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2005 with my Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science.  I attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated in 2008 with my Juris Doctorate.  I clerked for the Honorable Mark H. Sandson, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part in Atlantic County from 2008-2009.  After my clerkship, I was employed at Hunt, Hamlin & Ridley in Newark, NJ, the Sterling Law Firm in Burlington, New Jersey, the Law Offices of Marc J. Nehmad and lastly, the Law Offices of Reynolds & Scheffler before forming Kelly McGriff Law in August 2013.  I was employed as Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Pleasantville from January 2014 to August 2016.

From 2015-2016, I was the communications liaison for the Urban League of Bergen County Young Professionals.   I am currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Now that you know who I am and why I do what I do, let me help you!
